Making a Bullet Journal! // My 2018 & January Spread

Hello, everyone! I hope your 2018 has been magnificent so far.

Now, as some of you may know if you read this post, that I wanted to try and start a bullet journal this year. I started one! And let me just say…

This is the first time I have ever been aesthetic and I am so pleased.

My Bullet Journal (or BuJo) for short, is hardly anything special at the moment as I am still trying to figure out what I am doing with it. But I really like it so far, and it’s been really fun making the pages.

So today, I wanted to share with you what I have in my BuJo so far, and tell you what all of it means!

My Opening Page

This was the first page that I created for my Bullet Journal. I found the quote on Pinterest as well as a sketch of a mountain and thought that perhaps it would make a pretty combination. I really love the way it came out. It’s so minimal but also so lovely.

2018 in Pixels

I am quite aware of the fricked up grid because, unfortunately, I did not have access to a ruler at the time I drew this page. However, I am still pleased with how it came out. The quote by Voltaire is one of my favorites, and I think that the sketch of the sun is extremely cute. I do, however, hope that I have more good and great days because so far I’ve had mostly okay, bad and sad days this year.

Reading Challenge Tracker

I am, of course, doing this challenge over on my Goodreads (shameless self-plug *tsk*) and I plan to read 50+books. This is my least favorite page, and I might get rid of it. I just think that it doesn’t look nice enough, though, perhaps that is just my perfectionist tendencies.

January Spread

Though cluttered, this page is by far the most aesthetically pleasing to me. I am able to track what days I have school, when I post on my blog, when  I post a book review, what books I read, and even when my cycle begins and ends (and I may get hate for showing my tracker with such things on it, but I’m a sixteen-year-old girl and therefore I menstruate. Get over it).

So that’s my Bullet Journal for the beginning of 2018/January! If you have any ideas of what is helpful to add, please let me know. Are any of you doing a Bullet Journal this year? Also, I’m working on a few changes on the site, so be looking forward to that! See you soon xx
